PURIM EVE: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16, 2022

FOR ADULTS:

Featuring the Lab/Shul staff including Ben Freeman, Sam Hipschman, Stephanie Kane, Rabbi Noam Lerman, Naomi Less, and Sarah Sokolic plus guest artists Mx. Cleo Mizrachi, Eleonore Weill and Lab/Shul’s resident drag queens, Goldie Lox and Ona Louise. With special guest performers Jenny Romaine, Dust Tea Shoulders, and Gagepex, and starring Artist-in-Residence, Elana June Margolis as POSSESTHER.

The mayhem begins on the roof of the 14th Street Y where the Lab/Shul Megillah Mavens kick off the Purim Eve celebrations. What are we celebrating exactly? With the guidance of Lab/Shul’s finest, kid-friendliest performers, we will search high and low for clues to unlock the true meaning of Purim, with some big laughs and lots of singing along the way.

COVID PROTOCOL: Families and children who are eligible for a vaccine will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask at all times (if over 2 years old) while in the building. Once on the roof for the program, masks for families will be optional.
