Rise From Rubble

Marking Judaism’s Saddest Day: How We Can Heal the Hate that Ruptures Reality?

Join Lab/Shul’s Rabbi Amichai and Ben Freeman, with Rev. Derrick McQueen, pastor of St. James Presbyterian Church, and Jericho Vincent, founder of Temple of the Stranger, on the Fast of the 9th of Av to grieve in community and to explore how the ancestors can guide us in healing hatred within ourselves, in our communities, and in the world.

Join us in person in Harlem at St. James or tune in for a live-stream by Zoom.

For in-person participants, we will conclude the program with a potluck break-fast. Please bring something vegetarian to share.
