Thank you to all who joined us for Shiviti,
LAB/SHUL’S DAYS OF AWE 5783/2022.
Together, we celebrated the sacred season and activated the new year with renewed focus and intention. We opened our minds and hearts to Shiviti, the ancient art of focused contemplation, giving us grounding tools, as individuals and a community, towards better balance, leaning into love, rising up for justice.
Back in person at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center and Online, over 70 artists, educators, ritualists, activists, designers, tech wizards, production gurus and volunteers came together, inspiring us to ground and grow as we shift our focus onwards to what will fuel and feed our future.
If you were moved by our programming in any way, we invite you to donate and have your donation matched 2:1 thanks to a generous grant by our Board of Directors! Thank you for your support to ensure we can continue to create meaningful, groundbreaking rituals for our community.
This evolving container is what I love about lab/Shul and why as a remote digital member I stay engaged. I love how friendly the community is to everybody and love the openness of dialogue about what it means to be jewish.

I am so proud to be part of Lab/Shul — This 24 hour experiment was, in my opinion, so rich, so full, filled with such integrity, intimacy, and authentic vulnerability. Every time I thought I would turn it off, I kept it going — so seductive and sweet — the content was so expertly orchestrated and curated.

I’m so full of hope witnessing and experiencing what you’ve pulled off and shared with this world. Thank you for continuously leaning in and expanding and supporting artists. Thank you for the ways you all show up for this community. It is SO beautiful and inspiring. I love you all and am deeply grateful to be an artist in this community.
