Dear Lab/Shul Family and Friends,
Yom Kippur is over but the SHUVU season isn’t over. Out of the powerful process of atonement we enter the holiday of Sukkot – and the final weeks leading up to the elections.
As we exit Shuvu season, it’s time to really rise, and get out the vote!
The Lab/Shul Community will come together during these next weeks – offering multiple ways for each of us to do what we can to promote democracy, fight for justice, ensure a fair, safe and just voting process for all, and ensure that more people are informed, excited and able to vote.
We will come together on a regular basis to support each other, get informed and get out the word about the best ways we can step up, volunteer and make difference.
Together Tuesdays
This coming Tuesday we kick off Together Tuesdays – our new weekly #GOTV gatherings, offering volunteer actions and ways to support one another as we work together for justice and hope in America. Get engaged with Reclaim Our Vote and join us to share more ways to step up in the weeks ahead.
Reclaim Our Vote
Reclaim Our Vote is reaching out to people who live in voter suppression states to make sure that they have a plan to vote and know their voting rights. Sign up for a Monday night volunteer orientation and join Lab/Shul community members as we call voters in North Carolina on Wednesday nights.
