A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy

Info Session with Aaron Dorfman, Executive Director of A More Perfect Union, Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie and Sam Hipschman
On Zoom

A More Perfect Union: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy exists to build and support a robust, well-resourced, transpartisan Jewish coalition working together to strengthen democracy. Their goal is to support, convene, and mobilize the nearly 10,000 American Jewish organizations in a collaborative effort to ensure free and fair elections and to protect and strengthen democratic culture.
How we fit in: The Jewish Partnership for Democracy identified four strategic goals: Civic Learning, Practice of Democracy, Ideological Pluralism, and Free and Fair Elections. On Wednesday, October 11, we will gather to learn about each of these four strategic goals and decide which goal we as a Lab/Shul community want to focus on. That decision will dictate how we as a community organize in advance of the 2024 Elections. If you would like to participate in this work with Lab/Shul but cannot attend, please fill out the RSVP form or email sam@labshul.org to indicate your interest.
