33rd Annual Downtown Seder

Monday, March 30
7PM EST
CITY WINERY NYC

History repeats itself and sadly, the lessons of the past need to be repeated using the ancient tool of the dinner party. The Passover Seder is the annual tradition of reviewing story of tyrants harboring lethal hatred for outsiders and immigrants, the liberations struggles, the history of oppression, bigotry and antisemitism and makes it relevant for our times. 15 special guests will weave together humor, music, politics, activism, and creative viewpoints into this tradition.

One of the highlights of this year will be City Winery friend and ex-CNN anchor, Don Lemon who will ask the classic “4-questions”, but done with a special orientation based on his arrest a few weeks ago protecting freedom of expression. Many other highlights will include Israeli superstar David Broza, New York musicians Betty, Meg Okura and others. Comedians Matthew Broussard and Modi, Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, Terrence Floyd (George Floyd’s brother), Freakanomic Stephen Dubner, and photographer Bob Gruen.

More to be announced. Dinner and wine included.
This event is held 3 days before Passover actually starts and always sells out.
