Shushan in Session:
The Megillah, Mediated

March 2, 2026
Doors Open @ 7pm*

What if…courageous conversations saved the kingdom from fear, deception and bloodshed?

The traditional Purim story is full of silences, secrets, decrees, and power plays. But in our upside-down version, difference is not a threat but a source of strength, and truth-telling and real talk are what change the fate of the Jewish people.

Mitzi – Lab/Shul’s resident Commander/Prophetess/Mistress of Ceremonies – returns to perform another Purim Mitzvah, this time to repair the story of Purim. How will she do it? By summoning the characters of the Megillah – and, inexplicably, some famous modern-day friends – from their ancient scrolls onto the stage, and putting her conflict resolution training to the test for a group mediation.

Join us for SHUSHAN IN SESSION: The Megillah, Mediated. We are not making the story “nicer.” We are making it truer to who we aspire to be.

The ritual performance will feature Ben Freeman, Shira Kline, Naomi Less, Stuart B Meyers, Melissa Shaw & Sarah Sokolic + Special Guest Artists.
