DESCRIPTION:ReCollect/Yizkor: A Seasonal Kaddish Gathering\nAs this high holy day season approaches\, we enter a tender season of consciousness – that time has passed and so\, too\, the time when we were last physically together with lost loved ones. \nReCollect/Yizkor is a seasonal gathering to remember our loved ones\, share stories\, lift memory\, and say Kaddish\, the ancient memorial prayer\, together. ReCollect meets near or on the times of memory (Yizkor) on the Jewish calendar (Yom Kippur\, Sukkot\, Passover and Shavuot). \nWhether experiencing a recent loss\, remembering a loved one who passed away long ago\, or showing up in support of community\, we gather to acknowledge feelings of loss that can be particularly painful as we anticipate an empty chair at our tables. \nOur next ReCollect/Yizkor will be held on Yom Kippur at 3:30 pm ET in afternoon BOTH in person and online simultaneously. \n*Please note for IN PERSON attendees\, the in person event will take place outdoors in a tent at Tribeca Performing Arts Center – 199 Chambers Street. \nPlease dress appropriately for the weather. \nChairs will be provided\, and if you are comfortable sitting on the ground\, you’re welcome to bring a blanket. \nPlease do arrive a few minutes early – we will begin promptly at 3:30 to respect the time of online participants. \nThis event has limited in person capacity\, please pre-register here.
