First Saturday of every month\, Nov-Jun.\n*THIS WEEK*\nJoin Jewish Emergent Network communities Romemu and Lab/Shul for a special Shabbat weekend of soulful song and prayer\, sacred celebration\, fabulous feasts\, and interactive learning. All are welcome! \nClick here for more info on schedule/programs \n  \n3:00pm Doors open\, coffee & afternoon bites\n3:15 – 4:00pm Study Salon with Romemu Artist-in-Residence Yael Kanarek\n4:00pm – 5:30pm All ages meditation\, music\, poetic prayer\, Lab/Jr. ArtLab\, and a new Storahtelling collaboration with Yael Kanarek and her Regendered Bible\, a socially-engaged initiative to rewrite the Bible reversing the genders of all characters.\n5:30pm – 6:00pm Closing ritual \n  \nAccessibility note: there are two flights of stairs and no elevator service at our venue for Sabbath Queen and SoulSpa. Children ages 2-10 (and their young at-heart-grown ups!) are welcome each month to explore Jewish texts\, holidays\, and values through a variety of curated art materials. \nParental Guidance: Lifehack Lessons From the Ancestors with Rabbi Amichai\nA monthly exploration of the classical rabbinic text Pirkei Avot\, or “Teachings of the Ancestors\,” with practical philosophical insights for more mindful lives and wiser choices at any age + contemporary illustrated commentary from Lab/Shul’s 5779 Artist-in-Residence Jessica Tamar Deutsch’s The Illustrated Pirkei Avot.
