SUMMARY:Sukkahfest at Isabella Freedman
DESCRIPTION:Sukkahfest\nSukkahfest is perhaps the most joyous\, and most diverse celebration of the holiday of Sukkot you will find. It takes the full spectrum of the community to manifest the joy of Sukkahfest at Isabella Freedman. Everyone is welcome – all ages\, all streams\, all colors\, all identities. Kohenet-style services\, led by Ravot Kohenet Shoshana Jedwab + Rabbi Jill Hammer\, PhD\, as well as Kohenet Shamirah Bechirah aka Sarah Chandler\, and Lab/Shul’s Spiritual Leader Shira Kline\, will have an earth-based\, embodied\, feminist approach that includes chant\, meditation\, and embodied practice as well as traditional forms of prayer. We use a mix of feminine\, gender-neutral\, and masculine G!d-language\, and invite joyful\, intentional worship. \nRegister here >

DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to invite you to join Lab/Shul for our 2022 Fall Retreat! This multi-generational retreat is designed for all of Lab/Shul’s rites of passage groups to come together over a Shabbat weekend to learn\, play\, and connect to the world around us. Programming will include full community gatherings as well as breakout sessions for each of our rites of passage groups. We will also be celebrating the Pass/Age: an adult B Mitzvah program’s culminating Storahtelling ritual on Saturday! \nAll Lab/Shul community members are welcome! \nWHEN:\nFriday afternoon\, November 18th through Sunday lunchtime\, November 20th \nWHERE:\nIsabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center\n116 Johnson Rd\nFalls Village\, CT 06031 \nClick here for retreat schedule!\n  \nUPDATED COVID RETREAT POLICY:\nWith regards to Covid protocols\, we surveyed retreat registrants thus far and have designed our protocol accordingly\, and in a way that will ensure the safety and comfort of our community. Here are the guidelines: \nVACCINES: Proof of vaccine plus one booster\, as eligible\, for all people over the age of 5. \nTESTING: Each participant will be required to take a rapid home test on each day of the retreat. At registration on Friday\, you will need to show proof of your negative rapid test taken that same day. Please pack two more rapid tests which you will take on both Saturday and Sunday morning before leaving your cabin. \nMASKING: Masking outdoors is not required. Masking indoors is optional. \nCAUTION: Please stay home if you are feeling ill. \n
