Because Never Again means never again for anybody. \n25 immigrants have died in ICE custody during the Trump administration. Join us this coming Tisha B’Av\, a day of communal mourning\, to grieve the people tracked and killed by this system and to raise our voices for an end to the inhumane treatment of people seeking freedom. \nCorporations like Amazon and Palantir contract with and profit off of ICE and Trump’s deportation machine. We will not stand by and let these companies make money off of the suffering of migrants and asylum seekers. If Congress won’t rein them in\, the people will. This Tisha B’av\, we will gather to mourn the immigrant lives lost because of Amazon and Palantir’s decision to collude with ICE. \nTisha B’Av\, the ninth day of the month of Av\, is the major day of communal mourning in the Jewish calendar. On Sunday\, August 11 at 2pm\, join Congregation Beit Simchat Torah – CBST\, T’ruah\, Jews for Racial and Economic Justice [JFREJ]\, Romemu\, Lab/Shul\, Flatbush Jewish Center\, SAJ-Judaism that Stands for All\, Fort Tryon Jewish Center\, and Malkhut for a deeply Jewish observance of Tisha B’av – gather\, learn\, pray\, and demonstrate our bold\, spiritual resistance by calling out Amazon’s ties to ICE and the Trump deportation machine. \nThis Tisha B’Av\, we will take our collective mourning to Amazon’s doorstep.
