This month we will be in person and broadcasting live from the Manny Cantor Center and will be led by Ritual Leader Naomi Less\, Associate Clergy people Rabbi Noam Lerman and Ben Freeman\, and musicians Dan Aran\, Meg Okura\, and David Meer. \nThis March\, as we honor Women’s History Month\, the 100th anniversary of the first Bat Mitzvah\, and National Disability Awareness Month\, we uplift our our sisters\, the leaders on whose shoulders we rise\, and we amplify the voices of disability advocates as we continue to actualize what everybody-friendly means for Lab/Shul. \nWe feel like we need to keep the lights on 24/7 – to stoke the fire\, to produce produce produce – can we lean back\, pause and allow the pilot light to take care of itself without us fueling it – and instead fuel our soul with rest. We hope that other Jews of Color will experience Seder Queen as transformative\, and know that they are not alone. As we finish counting week five of the Omer\, we open the portal together to deep meditation on the quality of hod – often translated as “splendor\,” “acknowledgment” and “gratitude\,” hod is a quality associated with prophecy and dreams. \n  \nThis month\, we welcome you to Sabbath Splendor\, a special Happy Hour that includes a sound bath with sound artist and healer Katie Down\, light food\, drink\, and self-guided explorations to activate hod in your body and spirit – call it a dream state! Discover the splendor that is already present within and around you as we  pause to breathe in the simple deliciousness of being together. \nDoors open at the Manny Cantor at 6:00 pm EST.
