We invite you to join us to move beyond the headlines and “hot takes” into intimate off-the-record conversations with leading thinkers\, activists\, and leaders in the Land. \nSymposium members will have the opportunity\, on camera\, to question presenters and\, following their departure from the call\, to spend a final 30 minutes dedicated to a group debriefing. \nSession A (11am EDT): “Forces for Political Change – Looking Ahead to Elections” \n\nAs we anticipate Israeli elections in the coming months\, we take a deeper dive into Israeli Knesset politics. DESCRIPTION:October 7\, Three Years Later:\nA Brooklyn Community Gathering for Remembrance and Testimony with Atir Vinnikov\nWed\, Oct 07\n7:00pm – 9:00pm ET\nLocation will be sent upon registration* \n  \nWe invite you to share in commemoration with our friends at UJA Federation NY. \nThree years after October 7\, Brooklyn’s Jewish communities come together to hold the grief\, memory\, and questions this day continues to carry. \nJoin Jewish communities from across Brooklyn for an evening of remembrance\, music\, and personal testimony with Atir Vinnikov\, a survivor of the massacre at the Nova Music Festival. Atir is an Israeli public speaker who was raised in New York and returned to Israel at age 16. On October 7\, 2023\, he survived the attack at the Nova festival with crucial help from a Bedouin Muslim man who risked his own life to help others reach safety. Three years later\, Atir shares his testimony and reflects on survival\, loss\, memory\, resilience\, and the difficult work of rebuilding life after trauma. \nThe main gathering will include a community memorial ceremony\, music\, and Atir’s testimony. We will stand in silence holding candles\, with banners reading MOURN THE DEAD\, END THE BLOODSHED. Community members will read testimonies from and about October 7th survivors and victims and testimonies from Gaza and the West Bank. October 7th devastated many of us. Some of us lost family or friends\, others had loved ones taken hostage.
