SUMMARY:Purim Pivot with Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie
DESCRIPTION:Purim Pivot with Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie\nThursday\, March 21st\n1-2pm ET\nOnline\nPurim 2024 mid war is about politics\, protest and a must-have pivot \nFind out what\, why\, who and how to flip this holiday upside down this year. \nPurim and its featured Scroll of Esther has been understood as a fantasy of Jewish power written when Jews had none. But today it is a different story and requires wrestling with the text and traditions to walk our talk of moral responsibility and make new meaning of this holiday for our fast changing times. Yes\, even the pastries. \nJoin Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie Thursday\, March 21 at 1 p.m. ET to discuss and grapple with the new responsibility of Purim. Read a piece on the topic by Amichai here. \nRSVP Required. Sign up Here.\nThis event is for Lab/Shul Partners only | Not a partner yet? Learn how to join here.
