DESCRIPTION:Zen Shabbat\nLab/Shul and the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care invite you to a shared experience of sacred space and time\, harmonizing Jewish and Zen traditions in the celebration of Sabbath spirit. \nMay will be the fourth and final seasonal gathering this year. Our summer season is dedicated to growing\, sustaining\, and tending to our practice. May we all be responsible for nurturing the qualities that allow life to spring forth. \n\nSchedule\n6:30pm – Zen Center Opens\, Welcome to the space. Sit\, Exhale… \n(6:45pm Zoom Opens) \n7:00pm – 8:30pm of Zen Shabbat: Ritual music\, meditation\, and spiritual teachings led by Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison and Spiritual Leader\, Shira Kline. \nLocation & Capacity\nWe are thrilled to hold Zen Shabbat in person at the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care\, and on Zoom! In order to keep our community safe\, and socially-distanced\, we are limiting in-person capacity to forty-five people. \nAccessibility\nThe Zendo is on the 4th floor. There is an elevator.  There are floor cushions and chairs available for your sitting comfort. The NYZC is within 1 block of the 1\, 2\, N\, Q\, R\, and W trains. \n\nClick here to register!
