DESCRIPTION:Special Sabbath Queen ReCollect/Yizkor: Hanukkah\nFriday\, December 19th\n6pm ET Manhattan*\n6:30pm ET Online*\n8:30pm ET – Memorial Candle Lighting (Online Only)\n\n\nBring your loved One’s Light this season. \nAs we reach the end of the year\, we enter the winter holidays which can feel tender – that our end of year celebrations are now without our lost loved ones. We head into the lighting of lights – as we prepare for this time\, let us gather to create light in community. \nWe invite you to bring your loved one’s memory to our Special Sabbath Queen Friday Night ritual. Meet your fellow travelers Kaddish Club\, light a candle\, break bread and be together in the season of light. ReCollect/Yizkor is a seasonal gathering to remember our loved ones\, together. \nWhether experiencing a recent loss\, remembering a loved one who passed away long ago\, or showing up in support of community\, we gather to acknowledge feelings of loss that can be particularly painful as we anticipate an empty chair at our tables. \nThis special Sabbath Queen ReCollect will take place as a small gathering immediately prior to the Sabbath Queen Ritual on at 6:00pm ET IN PERSON and 6:30pm ONLINE. \n\nIf you are joining online – please stay on the zoom after the ritual for a special candle lighting and memory sharing gathering. BYO Candle.\nIf you are joining in person – please note the event will take place indoors in Manhattan. Masks Optional.\n\n\nDina Friedman and Jennifer Bleyer will facilitate our in person pre-SQ ritual in the balcony – come at 6pm to grab a snack – ritual starts promptly at 6:15pm (1 flight of stairs)\nChristy Lee-Engel will be facilitating the Kaddish Club meet and greet at 6:30pm and the post memorial candle lighting immediately following the ritual.\n\n*Location and zoom link given upon registration. \nTo register\, please sign up for Sabbath Queen here and check the box indicating you would like to participate in ReCollect.
