SUMMARY:Threats and Resistance: What is Happening in Israel Today
DESCRIPTION:Israeli democracy has been under threat for years\, but its new far-right government has taken those threats to a new level. Among those threats is an attack on the judiciary that could undermine Israel’s democratic norms for the long term. \nJoin us as we speak with Elisheva Goldberg of the New Israel Fund who will talk about what happened to bring us to this moment\, elucidate its significance\, and speak about how different kinds of Israelis are standing up for their democratic institutions and saying “no” to autocracy. \nZoom Only \nCo-sponsored by Lab/Shul \nRegister here
