PrePentJoin Lab/Shul online for our annual PREPENT series, a month-long journey of daily digital insights leading into the new Jewish year. This year, in line with our theme, we want to know: How can we be part of the solution, not just the problem? Our PrePent focus is “Tools of Tikkun: 30 days of communal wisdom on how we repair our lives.” Each daily post will feature quotes, original art, and different voices from our community, so that we can honor our hurting hearts, help us enter this new year with more intention and focus, to make more sense of what’s going on, and commit to making a difference in what we hope will be a much better new year. |

Sit + Sorry:Join Lab/Shul’s ritual team and the Senseis of the New York Zen Center for an intimate sacred eve of reflection and meditation, shared traditions, live music and spiritual preparation for the new year. Inspired by the traditional forgiveness ritual of Selichot, the Jewish ritual gathering that kicks off the Days of Awe 5786 season by focusing on the art of forgiveness, Sit + Sorry weaves together Zen Buddhist contemplative practices, ancient Judaic poetry and stirring music. |
